(06-25-09) Kandu News Update: The Kansas Attorney General, the City of Wichita Attorney, Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission, and Sedgwick County District Attorney have issued an opinion that they believe KANDU poker to be illegal. They will start enforcing the gambling laws tonight at midnight. Information courtesy

(06-25-09) I've spoken to several of the Kandu game operators, and it is my understanding that there will be a challenge to state's determination that Kandu is gambling in the next 14 days, and that until then all the area Kandu games are going to cease operating at 10:30 pm tonight.

(04-08-09) Time Out Club is remodeling, reopening and restarting poker with the following schedule, beginning next week.

For monthly tournament qualify on Tue, Wed & Thu at 12 pm & 2 pm. Mon, Tue, Wed at 7 pm & 9 pm.

For $5 chair rental Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun at 7:30 pm

(04-06-09) Rack-em Up located at 1602 S. Meridian has restarted poker playing Sun, Wed & Fri at 7 pm & 9 pm. $10 Chair Rental

(03-26-09) Porta-Party has stopped hosting Poker, they have however started hosting Black Jack at bars with the following schedule.
Club Blu - 8715 W. Maple (7 nights a week)
The Groove - 1206 S. Rock Road (7 nights a week)
Liquid - 235 N. Mosley (Wednesday - Saturday)
Fuzion - 252 N. Mosley (Friday & Saturday Nights)

They have changed the game into a game of skill by showing you the cards before dealing out the hands eliminating the element of chance making it legal to play for cash.
