The Amateur Poker League
operates free No-Limit Texas Hold-em poker games in the following
Games typically have 4-8
tables, at each table usually 6-8 people. Most of the bars give prizes
for winning, that could include cash, gift certificates or prizes. The top 16
finishers in each tournament get points. Points are allocated proportionally
from 16th to 1st. Visit the APL website for specifics about rules or
points. Winners of the APL
nightly events win a free chair rental ($10 value) to a blue collar poker
