Pages news report on Kandu
Differences between Kandu and Standard
Texas Hold em.
1.) There are
no blinds or forced bets. Instead of
blinds there are ante's to play each dealt hand.
2.) There is no
table rake. There is a time based table fee, usually
$2-$10 per 1/2 hour to sit at the table. (Depending on venue)
3.) There is no
unknown or randomness. Prior to
the beginning of each hand the entire deck is displayed face up for several
seconds.
Kandu at the Hilands will start
around 11 am and go for a few hours and then restart around 7 pm. The Hilands have a table fee of $6 per 1/2 hour.
