The Pub

The Pub is located at 801 S Seneca St Wichita, KS 67213, (316) 260-2895.

They are playing with the following poker schedule

(04-10-09) Pub Update The Old English Pub is now known as just “THE PUB”   - Same place, just shortened the name.  The Pub is opening at 2PM daily now.  The bar has drink specials every day.  No kitchen service is available at this time.

The Pub is about the only place left you can come and play poker daily for FREE!  There are requirements for qualifying for the Monthly tournament that means you would have to buy some drinks while playing, but you probably do that anyway.  NO CHAIR RENTALS!  We play a friendly game and frequently split the tournament money – so more people get a little.  Friendly play!

Poker hours are:

Monday thru Friday at 2:00Pm and 5:00PM  - these are regular sessions and points are awards to the final table as follows:

1^st place = 8 points,          2^nd place = 7 points,

3^rd place = 6 points,         4^th place = 5 points,

5^th place = 4 points,         6^th place = 3 points,

7^th place = 2 points,         8^th place = 1 point

Every Saturday at 2:00PM  is the Weekly tournament – to qualify you have to be in the top 8 point earners for that week.   You may not arrive late – NO one gets in after 2:00PM  Total payout is currently $50.00 per week.

Saturday 5:00PM are regular sessions with points awarded same as Monday thru Friday EXCEPT the first Saturday in every month is the Monthly Tournament. (Saturday 2:00PM starts the points toward the next Saturday 2:00PM tournament.)

On the first Saturday of each month at 5:00PM the Monthly Tournament is held  - the Total Payout is currently $100.00.

To qualify for the Monthly Tournament you must have at least 32 points for the month and have purchased *** at least 10 drink tickets *** throughout the month.   You may not arrive late – NO one gets in after 5:00PM   

 No poker on Sunday!

*** The Tournament Payout Fund is funded by buying a $2.00 ticket that is used to get either a Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, or Iced Tea.  The $2.00 ticket is good for 1 non-alcoholic drink and 1 refill.  (price at bar without the special ticket is $1.50 per glass of Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, or Iced Tea – and no free refill)  It’s a good deal for you, and the ticket money goes to pay for the weekly and monthly tournaments.  ***
