Players Players Sports Bar and Grill is located at 6200 W. 21 St. N. Wichita, Ks (316) 942-7900. Players has recently started (December 2007) hosting No Limit Texas Hold-em tournaments. They are playing Sunday thru Thursday at 8:30 pm and Friday/Saturday at 10:00 pm. The tournament arrangement is one of the more unique in the city. The tournament is a heads up elimination tournament until the final table, at which point the final 9 people play against one another. There is a prize pool consisting of $3 per player which is being donated by the owner, to be paid as a gift certificate. Fifty players would produce a prize pool of $150. There is also a $250/$250 bad beat jackpot. If four of a kind 8’s or better are beaten with both cards being played by both players, then both players will win $250.  © 2005-7 Wichita Poker Review
