I have a report that
Tess’s Bar and Grill has moved to the corner of Broadway and Macarthur. Tess’s Bar and Grill is no longer playing poker. playing Tue 7:00 pm & 8:30 pm. (04-07-08) Porta Party is now running the games at Tess’s. They are playing Tue evenings at 7 pm &
9 pm. (10-30-07) Update: We are
now playing Tue and Wed with a $5.00 seat rental. The prize payout depends on how many people
are playing. They have a Monthly tournament on the last Saturday of the
month, probably around 3 pm, for those highest in the points standing. (08-31-07) An update from Miquel for Tess’s Bar and Grill: We have recently changed the way we will be
running our poker. We are going to be doing only points for the month instead
of paying out per session. But we will have a bigger end of the month payout
it will be 1st $125.00 2nd is $75.00 and 3rd is $25.00 also the leader in
points at the end of the month will recieve $25.00. Our chips will be you
recieving $3500 you can donate $2.00 for 1500 extra and for an alcohol
beverage or eating you will recieve 500 for each of those also. Point structure will still be the same 1st
15 2nd 10 3rd 5 and 2 points for playing. (06-12-07) An
announcement from Miquel for Tess’s Bar and Grill: I would like to invite everyone out to
the newest bar for poker at 4858 Many know the
building as the old Teddy bares gentleman’s club, or next door to bomber
burger. We will be
playing poker Mon and Wed at 7pm and the 2nd session will follow.
We will be doing nightly cash prize for 1st place and 2nd
place will get a 10 dollar gift card to our bar. 1st place cash
prize will depend how many people are playing for every 8 people the prize
goes up 10 dollars starting at 20 for 8 people. Also we will
be keeping track of points for a finals monthly tournament 8 people with the
highest points will play a final tournament for 75 dollars. So we would like
to invite you all to come out and play starting June 18th the
night we open. Also if you
buy a pitcher of beer or a mixed drink you will get a 500 coupon for an extra
chip the next time you come in and if you do our beer and pizza special we
