(08-25-10) There is a new poker venue starting on Saturday Aug. 14 at 1pm. Location: RT's Alibi, 1552 S. Broadway. 262-0300

Absolutely free to play (no hidden chair rental etc), Alan Beard (bar owner) is putting up the cash prize: Minimum of $25 paid out in 2 places, final amount based upon number of players so the more players the more will be up for grabs.

We'll be playing WSOP rules, starting with 3500 in chips. Additional free 500 chip for being a fan on FaceBook (listed under RT's Alibi).

Games start promptly at 1pm so be there in advance to sign up for seating. Chip stack is docked when the first set up blinds goes up.

(08-25-10)Effective Tuesday, August 24, it will cost $2 to play a session of poker at Rumors. This is not a rumor - ha ha - it is a fact which has been posted for several days, and announced before their $1,000 tournament on Thursday, August 19. (Their schedule isn't changing, but on your grid showing their schedule you are missing the Tuesday 11:30 session and the Saturday 8:30 session.)

I stopped by the Keg in Colwich tonight to play poker at the 10 pm session, and was told they only play at 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and at 6pm on Saturday.

We have 4 beautiful casino trained dealers on our staff. We have a 40.00 deep stack event every Friday eve at 7:00 and Pay out upwards of 800.00 as a general rule on that game.
